Here's how to become a member of the CDTA.

Before you submit your application, you need to participate in any two of Chuckanut's meetings or activities. Meetings may be a general meeting, a board meeting, or a committee meeting. Activities may involve taking a class through CDTA, helping at one of the fun matches or trials, or participating in a community service or public awareness event with the club.

Once you meet the requirements, fill out an application for membership, click button below for an online form, or click the name of file, download and send via mail, email, or photo to turn it in. Dues are $30 for adults, $20 for Juniors - under 18 yrs., $45 for Family.

You will need to find two club members to sponsor you. One of those needs to write a short statement of recommendation either on your application form (if paper) or by email or text to the membership chair. Your sponsors must be CDTA members and may be instructors, the person who introduced you to the club, someone you met at a meeting or other event. If you are having difficulty finding sponsors, please contact the Membership Chairperson

After the application is received, we provide our members an opportunity to comment and to vote on your application. When you are accepted, you’ll be granted access to the member portion of our website and receive any applicable discounts. (Sorry discounts for classes are NOT retroactive.)
